The steel calculator calculates the approximate weight of a steel requirement on the basis of per piece rod. This weight is then used to calculate the retail price of the requirement, which is used in forming a quotation. It is advised for the steel requirement to be given by the site engineer.

• The length of the rod is 40 feet/12 meter bent at 20 feet/6meter

• Per piece weights vary between brands due to the production technology they employ

• All rods are TMT rods
